Did you know that for plastic to be recycled, it must be cleaned and dried? This avoids contaminating the entire batch of recyclable plastic.
Today, I cleaned out used containers & tubes. Some can be reused; others recycled.
We’re trying our best to keep waste (especially plastic) out of the landfill.
🔑 Key reflections:
- Say “no” to product samples / freebies (We’ve enough for travel use.)
- Use products with eco-friendly packaging
- Support brands that take back used packaging for recycling
- The less we use, the less to clean, dry and recycle. Save time, water & energy.
Small change. Big difference.
